The Piper Aztec 250 is an improved version of the Piper Apache plane manufactured till the end of the 1960s. The Aztec was upgraded with Lycoming piston engines, each with 250 hp. The Aztec can stay airborne for up to 7 hours, dominating and highly efficient at heights of up to 15,000 feet.
LIFEAIR owns three Piper Aztec planes, all upgraded to fulfill the requirements of their system-carrying tasks. The three planes have been installed with photography hatches in their cabin, 42cm in diameter, and low floor level which enables the installation of a wide range of aerial photography systems, remote sensor systems, transmitting systems and others.
